MVRC sidepods producing unusual drag/lift values« Back to Questions List

Hi, Upon simulating a case of my MVRC car, the sidepods have a CdA of -20. This seems really wrong, however ive double checked the stl and there doesnt seem to be an holes. Heres a link to all the logs of the run and the Postprocessing folder of the sidepods: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1OT6V0LWUJL5uy5PRPSQ3t-bAq0Y399oa?usp=sharing any help is appreciated! Thank!

So it looks like the mesh contains on bad cell. You could eitehr manually try to slightly change som mesh settingse to get around this. However this is not a good idea for teh chamionship as everyone has to run on the same settings. The area in question could be around this point here: (1.5196394 0.049039011 0.67142912)
You could try to slightly modify the geometry in that area and see if the simulation then runs.
